Fitting raceland manifold to mk1 VTR

Im thinking about getting one just after xmas but i was wondering if theyre a straight enough fit or not... i mean basically does it fit or is it like the raceland induction kit? (ie ; it sorta fits, but in reality it doesnt really fit that well at all)

Is anyone on here running one on their mk1? I know theres a lot of f*cking about to get one to fit a mk2 etc

Any help or fitting tips would be greatly appreciated

Also, if i do get one ill be getting exhaust and possibly de-cat with it, so i was also wondering whether anyone had this little combo on their car and if so what sort of improvement/change should i expect...also how rediculously loud would it be with decat?

i have the ashley manifold with a hausttech custom full system and de-cat..

the sound is great lots of popping and banging the loudness depends on the system you buy really it would be alot louder then a backbox only but do not lets it put u off the sound usually is really nice

and yes the performance does go up (its noticeable too) pulls better revs cleaner ect ect i would recomand it to anyone

i have raceland manifold, and a full s/s system with twin backbox and decat, sounds sweet as a nut, i have comments that at idle and low revs it 'purs' and when puttin toe down, it 'roars'

mine fitted nicely to my mk1, no trouble at all

only thing i can reccomend is net a new gasket for it when you fit it, as it seems to fit alot snugger :)

cheers guys, im thinkin raceland manifold but i didnt know that there was an ashley one available for mk1s... or any saxo for that matter... could you give us any idea of how much and where i can get one from?

in all honesty i dont think im too bothered about how loud it is, i just dont wanna end up with a car that sounds wank thats alll with the raceland induction kit/green filter it sounds awesome, i just wanna free off some ponies and get some more noise as my fiesta sounds f*cking awesome at full chat and i miss it (SOLD :( ) whati dont miss is it constantly going bang on me...

Yorkie/smiith...when the nicer weather comes around ill be all over the place so ill PM u some time if im ever around either area etc...
