My VTS sounds like a tank. i bought it as a project and the treads for one of the spark plugs needs re-threading and also split the rubber holder.. Will gettin spark plug re-threaded and new coil pack solve it? cheers :clapping:

if the spark plug needs re coiling (i had a helicoil) it sounds like it is exactly it. It will be firing on 3 cylinders and run wank aswell as sounding like a bomb is going off.

helicoil irc was about 120 for the 8v. Not 100% sure though. as was a year ago.

when the plug popped out of the head though there was a huge booming noise like a tractor, it had tapped for months before hand and i left it :(
