Induction kit or air filter.
i do have a green cotton atm
But the engine bay still gets hot.
it is a 1.6
not bothered about noise of it.
more on the performance side?
Recommendationss?

thats not very good, k&n good for sound not much else, i would go for a panel filter, better than k'n and dont hurt the petrol. as a open filter.

i've got green panel on mine. pretty pleased with it might upgarde in the future to an enclosed induction kit.

yes, as it keeps the air cooler, cooler air in the inlet = better burn basically so more power. in simple terms.

i would recommend a panel filter in the original box. heat soak on this will be minimal, although it wont sound all that good, depends what you want. although to be honest the gains on any induction system are minimal.

get the green enclosed mate very good kit. Another good point is that it relocates the filter closer to the front air feed and shrodes it from the heat. And with the filter being close to the front the density of the air that it should be getting should be lower and the air should be cooler

exactly what i was told by a local saxo garage/expert who has tried most variations on their track car.
