Would changing an exhaust on a Furio be a pretty straight forward job?

If so are there any exhausts that come with everything i need to fit straight on to my car that anyone recommends? Preferably nice sounding, no chavvy business.

Also does changing your exhaust effect performance on all the other standard parts, or fuel consumption?

Cheers :y::y:

do you want a full system or a back box? shouldn't effect fuel consumption at all, Piper 3.5 inch outward rolled sound great, Magnex 3.5 or a Supersprint i would recommend.

Dunno?

If i changed the back box would it make it sound good? Like the ones you have suggested

it would sound good with a backbox, but i would recommend a straight through Piper outward rolled full system exhaust as it will sound pretty nice.

no problems mate, will cost about £250 to £300 for a straight through full system stainless steel exhaust with a lifetime gurantee on one i think, will be worth the money though, my mate has had one and sounded well nice.

furiofanatic, same as me, we going to have pretty similar cars by the end of it LOL

Yeah 3k * 4k when its a real bassy tone sounds awesome, especially through a tunnel! Sounds crap near red line etc, not that it ever gets that high ;P

Liam46 & Furiofanatic - do they sound chavvy? bit of a stupid question as we could think of chavvy being different haha..

Was just wanting a nicer sportyer sound, without the real loud roaring like you see on some rudeboys corsa. If you get my drift :y: cheers

it will fit but you will have to weld the hangers on.

pretty much worth spending the extra £50 and get it ready made? by the time youve welded payed postage etc.

is that the one everyones recommended?

and does that literally replace the old one no other parts needed? thanks

no offence but i would just go for a full ashley exhaust for around 170... rather than 130 for just a back box

just ebayed a full ashley exhaust system will be £159.99 plus £10.99 brand new.

the description says there the LOUDEST for the price?

or do any of you think i should get the magnex 3.5 backbox for £149.95?

is changing a exhaust doable yourself (well with my dad who knows his stuff to a point), or would i need to pay a garage

if u get a backbox then u can do it urself easy enough, just put it on ramps or jack it up..

if u just want a nice noise then get a piper backbox, but if u want to do mods in the future for performance get a full system, my mate had an ashley and it was stupid loud and annoying tbh...

nah mate not chavvy at all, really quiet and sound more like of a sport upgrade exhuast rather than a full on LOUD exhaust like the CHAVS have Lol
