hi all, i noticed recently my battery light flickers when im redlining my saxo... what is that? ...

found it... alternator... it wont fuck up my saxo or anything..??? it will still work with it flickering or?

Should be fine, new alternator is not much as well.

it is the wires that are connected to the alternator that is causing the problems.

Get that on mine sometimes, battery flickers when I occassionally give it some. Wierd...

i do too will have to get a new alternator soon me thinks are they easy to fit?

I had this problem on my mr2. the alternator then died after around 3 weeks.
It is the flux breaking down at high revs due to the insulation on the windings or rotor breaking down.
