For noise get a pipercross foam filter! Very loud/cheap, but crap for performance!

The BMC CDA and the Raceland/green combo make a decent noise with decent quality cottons filters.

Viper is silent!

BMC is uber quiet.
But better than a Viper imo.

You could get an open filter and feed it cold air by placing it near the front somewhere. Then you got the noise, without losing too much performance.

hmmm im looking at getting a noisey induction kit for my Furio.

But when people say like above "but crap for performance!" do you mean not as good as some but better than stock?
or even worse than stock??

can be worse than stock, as if it is letting to much hot air in you will lose performance. Enclosed induction ftw!!!!!!!!!

hmmm If i get an induction kit on my Furio what gains can i expect? anything major? or just slight acceleration gain?

with an Enclosed induction is there any noise at all? and how easy are they to fit?

The gain will be very minimal! You wont even notice it tbh!

Most enclosed kits are fairly quiet. But ive heard the raceland makes a bit of noise, but nowhere near as loud as a cone filter!

agreed gains very minimal i would def go for enclosed though as in my eyes better to gain a little with enclosed then have an open and lose a little .. your choice though

The gains/losses wont even be noticeable on a standard 1.4 furio!

For what its worth mate you may as well go for an open filter.

Im mean theres one for sale on here for £20 that will give you the sound you want, at the price you want, but no performance.

Then you could go and buy a viper/BMC which is knocking on the door of £200! This will give you no noise, but possibly a tiny power gain! Note i say "possibly".

yup, ur best bet is piper for the noise, most open cones are louder than the inclosed (obv). Let us know what one you go for?

go to halfrauds and grab a ripspeed filter lol, if you just want noise they do the job and at £30 brand new you cant really grumble

defintely would recommend the raceland enclosed induction kit with a green filter, they do sound good.
