hi guys anyone know the crack
i went onto a site.. *****.co.uk bought shrek 3 everything looked good i looked around the site, cost £12 so wasnt THAT CHEAP.
anyhow takes 2 weeks and its from THAILAND.
box doesnt look like the english box and looks v good but home made, semed ok when i played it.... yet my mam tried and it didnt work.
i mailed them asking if this is a copy or not or just a fault.. they worded their words veryyyyy carefully....after me actually sending them 3 mails saying if u dont reply im going to paypal dispute.
anyhow after again askin if they are imported NEW dvds or imported copies
the site says BRAND NEW DVDS
hes just sent me a mail saying
Hi Andi
All the movies are brand new "Licensed Imports" as described.
Regards.
if this is copied there regardless of what hes calling it its illegal isnt it? ( to copy anyyyy dvd ect) is counterfeit. would you jsut go straight to a paypal dispute or mail him back?
p.s the guys name is english (guessing) so looks like he knows someone abroad got a vvvv good set up and is getting coppies from thailand

dont have it on me heres teh site
www.gekkodvd.co.uk
any prior to this there was no disclaimer on the main page about importing UNTIL id emailed them, i thoroughly checked the site out, either way it says BRAND NEW DVDS
"Gekko DVD only sell Brand New & Original DVD titles. All our products are backed by a comprehensive money back guarantee"
so if they are trying to say its original because it is copied from the original,,, and its brand new because its brand new copied. then this is plain and simply illegal and missleading?
do i mail em or go to paypal. i know its £11 but i think its out of order it was an xmas pressie and i dont think they should be getting away with it. i mean the dvds aint that cheap on there so it a int like "£4 copies improted fromt thailand. get yours now" disclaimers

File a dispute with Paypal anyway. If they have had several people reporting similar things they will more than likely refund the payment and seek reimbursment from the seller

so there fake, surely its plain and simply illegal. i read peoples responses there, about how long it took tehm to get an email, i sent a very good clever email to them about the problem, no reponse tried again nothing, until i literally said please response asap or i will file a dispute.
then got a cleverly worded response from them (so it seem like they have thought things through) and might get away with it with some customers but end of the day its fake its not real they aint answering simple questions surely i will get a refund and they can get in trouble?

Why don't you ask them for a full refund !
I know you've already openend it but consumer rights say you are entitled to a full refund if the product you've purchased doesn't match the original description. You can always threaten to report them for producing copies if they don't give you your money back :y:

Morrisons usually bring new releases out at £9, even the 2 disc special editions, Asda's not too bad either :y:
