I used this bloke:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-Peugeot-ECU-IAW-1AP-Tested-Decoded_W0QQitemZ330204287847QQihZ014QQcategoryZ10 406QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I just give him an offer of around £80 and he accepted, was quick too.

I sent my ECU off to him, he unlocked it and tested it, then sent it back.

what does unlocking the ecu do? just make it more efficiant?

allows more fuel to be injected, meaning higher revs, more performance and more money used of fuel lol

Are you sure about that?!? Surely that's what remapping does, unlocking doesn't edit any of the fueling characteristics.

I just got my ECU unlocked so that I could use it for my engine conversion, basically unlocking is simply removing the immobiliser from the ECU, allowing it to run on any car. (aslong as you remove your immobiliser box from under the dash)

holy shit, people are charging that much to bypass the immobiliser on the ECU!!! I did it in 2 mins with 1 piece of wire!
