Does any1 know if a xsara 2ltr 16v vts lump would go in to a saxo vts shell???

Yes with alot of work!! Pretty useless if you ask me, a cammed vts lump will be better anytime, unless you can afford 4k to get a standard engine in and then 6k on decent suspension drive shafts etc...

orite its just my mate os looking at ideas as he has a shell with no engine and was woundering it that would be any good

It will.. you can make anything fit with a bit of fabrication and a lump hammer
if you can do the work yourself then go for it... but I'd advise to fit a better engine in there if you are doing a complex conversion. Don't get stuck in the PSA engines for PSA cars trap. Pick the best engine for the job.

hes had 3 mi16 205s and blew the engines in them so i very much dout this will be on the road long if hew does get it done

I would look at 206 engines or 307 engines lower mileage, and can be very powerful with a bit of tuning!
