I Need Help

:oops: My saxo just went straight to 6500 rpm when driving at 20 mph what the fuck caused this i turned the car off then on again and it still done it i thought i was screwed anyway i turned the car back on 5 minutes later and it worked fine i dont understantthis what went wrong HELP!

It might be a idle sensor or the throttle might have stuck on other than that i am stumped mate

it sounds like your throttle has stuck open mate. when oyu left it it probably managed to close its self some how. be careful and get it check asap

Take the filter off and check the brass butterfly thing in the throttle body and check to see if its clean or not if not give it a clean and put a bit of wd40 on the throttle linkage to make sure it doesnt stick again
