Hi everyone my saxo has a mind of its own i was driving slow at 20mph and my saxos revs maxed to 7000rpm i had to turn the car off and i turned it straight back on again but it still done the same its not doing it now but what caused that and will it do it again cheers everyone

ecu fault could be, or even fault on the TB, take it in and get it checked.

What posistion is your thottle in? Sometimes the cable becomes stuck from the pedel to the actual thottle body, just free it up and lube it in wd40.

also check pedal is not getting stuck on floor mat.

think this is very unlikely to be an ecu fault tbh. id check the simple things first yourself as said, cable getting stuck etc. if no luck take it to a garage mate

i recently had tailored car matts fitted lol they werent to tailord either i think it may have caught the pedal however i was in gear and it didnt send me flying the car just rolled along slow didnt wheel spin or anything which is confusing incase its not the pedal
