having problems with my car starting in mornings, its either my cap failed some how and drianed my battery and fucked it or my alternator is packing up, i just want to know if only a vts alternator will fir or any other kind??
may not be alternator as i had my car running while playing my sub and my power cap went from around 13 volts down to 8 volts and started flashing, so i drove home and while i was driving, i noticed cap was going back up to around 13 volts, but when i pulled up, and car was idling, it was going back down, so i thought fuck it, i got out car, turned it off and took fuse out the holder straight away, i then tried to start the car again and battery was that dead that dash lights were dimm, all in space of 2 minutes
so i dont no whats wrong, either
- my cap managed to drain battery some but dont no how as car was running when this was all happenign until i removed fuse for 2 mins
- alternator not charging battery while running
but i really dont no, all i can say is car was running when powercap started droping in power and battery was flat in space to 2 mins
i need a new battery i think or alternator unless someone knows why this happens, as i can jump my car and drive it now for a while and turn it of and itll start as ive disconnected sub but when i leave it over night, its dead asif battery wint keep charge for long amount of hours
