wont run on standard saxo ecu as it is, iirc a dastek piggyback is able to run them but for best results you need standalone engine management which is £500-£1000 and then it will need wiring in and then mapping which will be another £400-£500. Give GMC a call and have a word with them as they supply and fit throttle body kits

As Steve said, you'll need aftermarket fuel management.
Although there not as exspensive as steve points out. Our system comes in with a lot smaller bang on your wallet.
We can also fit your bodies if you run into any problem
Have a read of our section

Are these the throttle bodies that were on ebay for £160?

pay the extra for a proper manifold to which you can mount the throttlebodies to. Silicon hosing is not good as it upsets the airflow

If you are trying to t body a VTR I have a full kit from GMC that I am selling for next to nothing and they work a dam sight better than a botched up kit.

Set of GSXR600 Throttle bodies or carbs in clean used condishon
(They are currently carbs due to the injector holes being blocked with hard setting putty as its not a part which gets very hot in the engine, however this is only temporary and can be pushed out to convert back to throttle bodies)
Ok, i have these forsale due to no longer needing them as i sold my car, they are in very clean and tidy condishon, used with a few marks, but very clean, they also come with a manifold to fit peugeot 106, Citroen saxo, Citroen AX 8v TU engine's and samco hosing and jubilee clips to connect the bodies to the manifold. The manifold is a bit rough and ready as the guy i bought them off made it himself i think, but it works as he had it on his ciroen ax gt untill he sold them to me (think there may even be videos of it on youtube under "citroen ax on bodies" its a black car).
I have no idea what else will be needed to run these, other than possibly a standalone ECU, but there is the possibility they will run on standard managment, it is up to the buyer to find out about this and confirm suitability...etc
There will be a BHP gain from fitting these due to removing the restrictive standard intake manifold and filter setup...etc the power gain varies on the car,engine...etc
thats the right up on them

Tommy they are carbs and not throttle bodies you have sold. There really only anygood for a precat car. You will have to get them setup for your engine.

get a picture up. Sounds like the Shenpar kit?
TU engines are the code derivative of the engines that are fitted. TU's were fitted to small capacity 205's and the 106/saxo range amongst others. XU engines were the bigger engines - 205 gti, 306 xsi and gti-6, Then moved to EW engines in the 206 and 406 etc, can't say i take any interest in the newer cars though now so have no idea on their numbering
