More work in the supercharger surely, forged pistons etc...

local garge will not fit a 2lt lump. Well most will not as its a lot of custom bits you have to sort out. Most garges can not do this.
Mini charger is not as hard to make fit but still hard and its a very poor unit and does not show much power.

hmm mite no charger it then
garage sed they wud do it as they do engine converions and as im good m8s with them sed they would order the driveshafts and that for the joob as they hav dun 2ltr corsas and just finishd putina punto gt engine in a punto

306 engine is way too heavy for a start, be realistic get a vts tuned like the rest.. simple.

the cooper s supercharger would give the it 20 to 30% increase in bhp

would a lot of expense for not much gains - if it was that easy, everyone would have one.
best off getting a proper supercharger and doing the job properly

your buggered before you start then if your already talking about money. Cooper S charger will require custom brackets, long shaft and intermidate bearing and thats just getting the charger on. Then fueling, cooling etc...
And teh cooper s charger is pretty poor hence why 90% of those seriously tuning the cooper s get rid of it

As above!
If you think about how much it will cost, you cant afford it :)

like sed my m8 owns a exhaust n suspension company and makes up pipping for turbos etc he would make the brackets etc and can get a intercooler for it and neserssery parts as well

The mini charger is a poor choice... iirc it's too big to fit by the passengerside of the bay (where all the belts are) so you have to have a shaft running from that area to the other side of the bay... which would be a task to start with! Then it's not very thermally efficient, meaning high inlet temps!.. you would need a bypass valve and it won't give you much power...

have you thought about the cost of the rest?
engine management
forged pistons may be needed?
headwork ?
cams?
unless you intend to just bolt in on?

Stop dreaming and do some research.
2.0ltr in a saxo is possible but will cost thousands of £££.
Cooper S charger is shit on the minis, so why put it on an engine its not designed for? Theres a reason that everyone uses rotrex chargers.

i fitted a mini supercharger to my saxo vts. its a lot of work to get it to fit.
i had to mount it in front of the front panel behind the bumper. then cut some of the body away. but because it was fitting to the body of the car and the engine moves. i had to make a pully system with a tensioner on it.
it worked very well tho. and because the charger came on boost slow i got to run upto 10-13 psi on the standard engine.

Any idea what sort of power output it was? 10-13psi sounds impressive but that will have been hot and I bet it used loads of engine power to generate that...

hi bullit its coming on ok. iam fitting a digi dash and stripping the dash to bits to make it as light as possible. and iam fitting a roll cage. but ive got another saxo now that iam putting a bike engine in aswell lol.

i dont no what the power was but it was faster then my rs. the charger got hot but because it was just behind the bumper it helped alot with the cooling. in the end it made the gearbox go funny . but i used to floor it ever where lol.

Theoretically 10psi could give a early VTR around 150bhp. But that is a theoretical charger that take no power to run and does not heat the charge temp at all. From a M45 on a VTR 10psi would equate to a parasitic power loss of something in the reign of upwards of 20bhp and a charge temperature upwards of 60C. But that is very ruff.

a mercedes or jaguar supercharger would be a better choice but niether ill be as good as a rotrex.

lol, i can see your way of thinking but in reality your going to have to thousands getting it to work and run reliably.
seriously mate if you have to funds to get anywhere near to doing this i would get a vts engine and tune that
