to be honest mate as nice as spending the money on mods sounds i had the same dillema! i could hae spent a fortune on the old saxo, turbo convertingit would be ace and something a bit diffrent to the normal but then was it worth loosing so much money you wouldnt get back in the end??

i decided against it for that reason that it was just throwing the money away, i sold up and put it into a car that holds its value reasonably well which could come in usefull as maybe a chunk of a deposit for a home if im looking forward ;)

just my way of thinking and personal opinion anyway mate!

If you have got a loan to mod your saxo I think its a silly idea. You should only do it if you can really afford to, not get a loan to do it. What about the massive jumps in insurance etc.

Sorry, got my performance head on then, i agree you shouldnt take a loan out to just mod your car, you'll be paying for it for years and years, are you really going to keep the car that long?
