im doing a VTS conversion on my vtr and im going to give he engine a major service whilst its out of the car.
i need to know if everything on this list s right and if ive missed anything, i will not be stripping the bottom end so dont worry about that.

Clutch

coolant
cambelt
headset (head gasket etc) the ones you get in a set.

loads of seals etc.. massive list.. depends if u wana replace most of it with new or risk the parts that were on it like thermostat, big end bearings, sensors etc.. mileage of the said vts engine would help to

its done 43k

just head gasket
cambelt

just wondering what else is worth changing whilst im there.

just be takig the head off really and changing everything which is likely to be a major problem at a later date, but wont brak the bank, but may aswel change if you know what i mean.

definatly cambelt and head gasket just to stop them going in the wrong place at the wrong time. may change the water pump also.

spark plugs yes never thought of that,

just dont wanna fit the engine and have to take it out again to fix it.

Water pump is worth changing whilst your doing the cambelt.
