hi guys thinking of purchasing a vts for the summer i want something nippy/responsive, but yet not too thirsty.
according to the book i have i should be looking at 0-60 in 8.3sec, 120bhp and 35mpg?
is there anything that makes these abit quicker without too much money??
also are there any common faults?
cheers

A VTS 0-60 is in the region of 7 seconds not 8. Bout 7.7 i think.Stripping them makes the most difference so taking out the rear seats etc and its free.

Great for the money now.
Over 3 years I've averaged over 40mpg in mine.
Look for all the usual like frequent oil changes etc and any signs of neglect.
Look for head gasket problems (oil leak front left of engine, oil in coolant etc.)
