how can i find out if my vts is already chipped

only had it 4 days and the axles pumped no had a chance tae find out its in geting fixed what should it rev to mate

got a quote of £325 for remap he said if standard it will make 132bhp is that about right

the standard vts is limited to 7200 rpm so if it goes over that then chances are its been remapped. hwover its not advisable to keep it reving like that

got it from a garage mate they dont no al find out what it revs to when a get it back cheers mate

I rang up a place not so long ago and i was told that getting a standard VTS remaped would only gain an extra 6bhp

i doubt itll get them fiqures, ur best doing other mods before a remap as then itll increase the power gained, cams and all breathing mods before a remap is best..

getting a remap now would be pointless imo you goin to spend over 300 quid and you will only receive a very minimal power increase if any mate ?
