Hi everyone i was wondering if anyone can recommend which engine mounts and gearbox mount to get for a vts. preferable some that dont vibrate the dash like hell when ticking over like powerflex ones.

Group N mounts will be fine for road/track use. Group A will vibrate the whole car and make road use unbearable.

'race/rally' bushes would be Group A ones which if I remember rightly require the bottom rear mount to be welded. They certainly aren't softer than powerflex ones so they shouldn't be vibrating less. In fact, Group A bushes will vibrate a hell of a lot more, you wouldn't even notice vibration with powerflex bushes.
And Demon Thieves probably charged you about £100 more than any other company would, they seem to do that with every other part they sell ;)

Yeah, I have Group A, and they vibrate the shit out of your car, its great!
They loosen up after a while so its not as harsh. its not that bad when just ticking over its when your driving it makes the vibrations loud.

thanks lads looks like the 106 group N rally ones from gmc then, witch are rubber where powerflex are polyurethane plastic. the group Ns should stand about 200bhp as the car is on s/c boost?

I have the 'semi solid' Group A ones, and they are slightly overkill on my pretty much standard vts. I'm going to replace the aluminium lower bush with a hard rubber one.
IMO the group a would be amazing on a throttle boddied track car, but for a road car it's not needed. ! I thought I could take it, but deep down I like a little bit of comfort !!!
The group a rattles different bits of the interior at different revs upto about 4k, then anywhere above this it just goes mental !!! lol
