just had a brainstorm when i saw a C2 GT engine 26k miles for sale saying it could be put in a saxo

is it possible and what is required?...:y:

would be straight in wouldnt it? maybe sumthing to do with wiring loom but nowt more as a guess?

same engine as the c2 vtr which iirc is around 110bhp? tu5 engine so yes will fit

c2 engines have done before yes.

most tend to fit a saxo loom/ecu and inlet manifold.

i'm sure you need to drill and retap the head to fit saxo inlet, then as ryan says you just use saxo ecu and wiring loom.

ja bolt holes for inlet fannymould are not there on uppet part of head for saxo inlet, c2 inlet doesnt run so many bolts :homme:

wasn't aware of the bolt issues but that's good to know. Isn't the C2's throttle controlled differently from the saxo's, meaning you have to use the saxo inlet? That's what I was getting at ;)

ja people switch as the throttle assembely is different, GMC irc have a kit or can supply stuff to convert it as some people were thinking about it.

ill try and show the pics of the fact the cpoo doesnt have much on the upper row of bolts like the saxo does.
