i am getting pug-performance to fit me piper cam to my saxo 1.4 furio and he said he will do it for 500 is this a good price :) ?

what are they supplying and fitted exactly?

piper 285 id imagine.
colin tends to use them a fair bit irc. i hope that inclues cam and pulley

and vernier pulley? new cambelt?

would need a new pulley to adjust it right, as 8v doesnt have adjustables as std irc.

yeh colin quoted me 500 on the phone he just said i will supply the cam and fit it for you , i go tmy ssaxo lowered there, he is a clever bloke

as said find out exactly. a cam is what £120. and fitting would be around a tonne id imagine

A blank cam will cost you over £200 and then you have a head gasket set, head bolts, cam belt kit, oil, water and the time it takes to fit. Generally £50 a hour.

i just had some work done there few days ago lowering decat and manifold all piper not lowering kit of course all was cool but next is cams and port and polish :) colin said will be ok u guys live close then ? i am in basingstoke next to alton really :)

ah i do miss poping down to the chicken shed and seeing what colins up to on various little projects
