can any1 give me a link to a good cheap quick shif kit and uprated gear linkages for a 1.1 saxo. also ways of making a bit of a sleeper 1.1 i have the vt kit fitted and dont want 2 go down the vtr/vts engine transplant road wanna just boost the 1.1 a bit without going crazy.

quick shift via kamracing, std linkages are fine.

never had a problem with mine in 4 years nor have most of my friends.
you can go rose jointed but they are not cheap and kill boxes if not set up right.
people tend to blame the car when its not allways the car as to why bits break ;)

either you're not fitting them properly or the ones you have are worn. They don't just pop off for no reason.

Like its been said above you don't need uprated gear linkages... if they're popping out all the time and you've admitted they're worn... well do i really need to say anything more???
Just get a new set of standard linkages.
If you want a good, cheap quickshift get the griffiths engineering one.

thats my quick shift ordered going to shitroen to get a set of gear linkages 2moro how much of a difference do you think the shifter will make to my puny little 1.1

Probably about the same difference as any other engine sized car, you will be able to change gears slightly quicker and so accelerate slightly faster.
