zetec-s
and vtrs shouldnt be getting owned by them either.
cam your engine if you want more power from it or go for a 16v conversion

like its been said you have plenty of options
but your car shouldn't be getting done by a zetec-s unless your engines fooshed... take a look at your driving style - when your changing gears etc
there is a video of the bluefin demonstration on a Zetec-S on youtube and even with the bluefin on the VTR keeps up with it till about 60 . without the bluefin it nails it

i was with him all the way till we got to around 55, then he was slowly creeping away from me, how much you reckon would cost to be cammed or conversion?

even past 55.. he should not be creeping ahead!....
the only reason why im stating this is because i don't want you spending money on something that is fast already as a zetec s.

so you all reckon mine should be just as quick as his already

It should be quicker
When was the last time you serviced it? Are your oil levels etc all ok? Spark plugs, oil filter blah blah... I'm not saying they are the difference but if your engines in need of a bit of TLC it won't be running properly and all the small things could be making the performance suffer.
But remember anyway, its not about who's got the faster car - but if it was, you'd be ok lol.

the air filter doesn't really doo much unless you have other breathing mods working with it.
But don't worry, no matter what he says, the vtr's are a tiny tiny tiny bit quicker!.... just little tip, when you doing 55... take it off the 2nd gear and into 3rd!..lol :homme:
