Howdy folks, tis the help forum terrorist again.

Looking for a little info on superchargers, so ill probably just keep updaing this thread as i have more questions.

For now though i'll start with whats on my mind:

Question 1:
How do you limit the pressure a supercharger produces? Reducers on the inlet? Some kinda wastegate which vents pressure above Xpsi?

Cheers :)

IIRC some of the kits come with a boost restricter - basically reduces the size of the chargers outlet.

fitting different sized supercharger pullys adjusts the speed the supercharger rotates at and thus alters the amount of boost produced. e.g with a centralfugal supercharger to get it to boost more you could fit a larger crank pully or a smaller supercharger pully. Like turbo chargers you can overspin a supercharger where the efficientcy drops off rapidly.

Ah the pulley, that was the thing i forgot to mention, cheers guys, for some reason hearing (figuratively speaking writing) someone else say it makes me understand it better ;)

EDIT: Steve i've loved you recently apparently
