Ive seen some treads but none really say i want to no. any help will be repped.

1st, Whats a straight fit for a mk1 VTR

2nd,What is the best box to look for? 1/4 mile box'

1. All saxo (& 106) boxes are interchangeable!
2. For acceleration a Vts one is shorter!

so a vts box will fit straight onto my vtr? with out mods?

Yup

106 ph2 Rallye Box a bit shorter still or a ph1 Rallye for mega shortness.

Though that would be shit

Yup.

Other shorter choices are 106 Rallye S2, 106 Xsi S1 & 106 Rallye S1

However you will loose top end & be at a higher rev for a given speed on the motorway!

I personally think the 106 p1 rallye box is too short for a VTS, in a VTR it'd be a right pile of shite

all boxes fit:y:
s1 rallye if you can afford.
i had a vts box for a week, that was good.
think im goin for the 1.1 next just cant beat it for value:A:
remember all saxo boxes are made from chocolate so i wouldnt fork out mega-bucks for a re-con box
