Evening guys.

Going to spend about £400 end of this month sorting out little bits that are annoying me so car is 110% perfect.

My manifold snapped (see red below) Its been welded up but knowing its been welded annoys me so want to get it sorted and perfect. I dont really want to buy an aftermarket one as 95% of my car is motorway and i only really use the car for work and back.

Looking for a 'saxo manifold' lol on ebay and i came across this Click (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-106-SAXO-MANIFOLD-DOWNPIPE-CAT-CATALYTIC-90860_W0QQitemZ260218802399QQihZ016QQcategoryZ1040 6QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotoho sting)

Question is, could i just buy that and bolt it to my manifold and it will sort my problem?

Also what clutch comes on a saxo as standard, where can i buy it cheaper then normal and do i need the 'full kit' I had mine replaced last year but it feels shite and as above i want the car pefect.

If not im open to suggestions about replacing the manifold. Its a 53plate VTR.

thank yousss

thats just the downpipe so buying a new down pipe would suffice?

i replaced my 1.1s and at a trade price it was 30 quid, just to give you some sort of idea :)

Lee suggested taking it to an exhaust place and getting a new section added?

Buying that section off ebay will be fine, unbolt the old one and replace with the new one. :y:

Nice 1 mate, thanks

Now regarding clutch.

I used to get a shakey feeling when setting off in first and when reversing.

Adjusting the clutch stopped it happening when setting off in first. But it stil does it in reverse but only when on a hill.

Now i had a new clutch about 6k ago. so do you think it could be that it just needs adjusting more, or just that the clutch that was put it was shit?

or you could just buy my CAT like you had already arranged to do?

Clouds_mate

They is nothing wrong with my 'cat'

For the sake of an extra £20 i can get a new part and i know the condition of the cat.

also the fact that you said 'i will sell you the manifold if you cant find anything else and really need one'

So i actually thought i was doing you a favour going elsewhere as you mentioned to me you wanted to keep it for a spare.
