Right then I have no idea on how a remap works or anything lol:oops:
I just want to know what are the main benefits of gettin a remap and when you should ideally be looking to get one etc. Any extra info welcome :A:

Remap works by over writing the information on the cars ECU.

Best done after cammming an engine.

i have thought about camming my engine many of times but not exactly got enough know how on what i will need. someone said to me that you dont just put the uprated cams in, you also need some other parts aswell?! :geek:

really when fitting new cams you shud fit new hydraulic lifters (£160)

cams shud really be done after the induction and exhaust are done, then finish off with the remap.

other than that nothing else is needed.

have you searched ? lol been answered many times. cam belt thats it. depending on miles, fuel pump and something else. minds gone :cool:

think cams and a remap is on the cards then. ive had cambelt and head gasket changed already. the cars on 68k at the mo.
