my vts keeps missing or flooding or something when i put my foot down at low revs.cant really put my foot down until i get to 3000-3500 revs and even then i have to ease it on
changed my plugs a while back and it cured the problem but only for a month or so and now shes back to normal
it only really does it when the engine is up to temp but i never drive as hard when shes cold but its definetly worse when the cars warm.
any ideas folks???:y:

I had this problem when we had a lot of rain a few months ago, i put the coilpack in a warm place (airing cuboard) overnight and most of the morning, that fixed it.

I've seen a similar (but not as major as you describe) problem with a faulty MAP sensor - it might be worth a try?

Your airing cupboard must be warmer than the top of your engine if that fixed it! I expect that disconnecting and then reconnecting it improved the electrical connection.

I could be loads of things with this sort of symptoms really. I had my lambda sensor start playing up and it caused very similar problems.
Have you not had any engine management light on?

Ive got very similar problems changed the plugs, coil pack still got it, I heard it may be fuel sensor but, before you buy anything new take the map sensor out and clean it off with tissue inside and the actual sensor, this worked a treat on mine and also my mates sisters 206.
BTW map sensor is left hand side of the Inlet on a VTS depends which car you got. Usually has red sticker on it and a wire going it you remove with a small torque screw. If that helps might save you the money of a £110 coil pack and I think a new map sensor is a good £30-50 on ebay/
