Engine/gearbox mount gone?

I need a way of finding whether i have an engine or gearbox mount gone and which mount it is, just wondering if anyone can offer up a way?

When i set off in first it jumps out of gear sometimes and also does it in reverse. Its started doing it alot more often lately and also when im setting off I can hear some sort of heat sheild or something rattling. There is also quite abit of gearbox wobble under accelerating and deccelerating.

Take your battery of and see if the mount under is strong and not weak. Sometimes the rubber wears down. also check the mount under your engine by the bottom of your manifold.
