Hi, just need a bit of advice really. My car intimitantlly cuts out when im driving. Theres no missfire or anything, the engine will just stop running. Also sometimes when i try and start it, the engine won't fire... so i'll turn the ignition on and off again and then it will start fine. Crankshaft sensor or coilpack maybe. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Could be the idle control valve.
And it could be 2 different problems, the not starting and the cutting out.

Would the idle control valve cause it to cut out when driving, no chance it could be coilpack ??

I bought a Coil Pack off Ebay for £8 in the end! Bargain. Didn't fix my problem and have just ordered a new ICV.

You have the same problem as me and a few others.
It just cuts out at low revs! :(
Had new plugs, New Coil, Full Service.
I think it's time to convert to a VTS.
