first thing i would think of is has it been serviced recently, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs and so on?

Air filter could be blocked, or maybe the piping that leads from filetr to throttle body.
Thats the 1st thing to check.

Yes it might well have a standard air box, but its still got a filter in it! Lol
Best thing to do would be to take the filter out and run it. But dont do it when its raining or if its dusty!
That way you can rule out the air filter.
