Rite, I have had my new exhaust for a while now and I'm feeling that it is not making the best noise it could.
I belive that an induction kit might help it sound nicer.

Can anyone suggest the best induction kit to use on a Mk2 1.1i ?

Thanks :y:

well any kind of open induction gives a real good grunt, fully enclosed gived beter performance, iv got 1 off ebay for £15 lol does me fine and sounds nicer than my mates k&n. iv added bits of pipe to it so it reaches colder air hope this helps a bit.

Not a fan of open air ones tbh suck to much hot air in

A nice enclosed one with give you a nice roar, Kam racing sell the raceland ones

Or if you wanna spend some cash you could by the old procomp carbon fibre ones off BIC

If its for a standard 1.1 then i would just go for an open foam pipercross.

You arent gonna notice any gains even with a £200 induction kit.

They are very loud and if you put them in the right place you deffo wont lose power with it:y:

i was thinking that if im only going to gain 2 or so bhp with 1 that costs £200 i might aswell get a cheap 1 that makes a heap of noise. but you are right a open air filter does suck in a hoor of hot air like unles you route it to the frount behinde the headlight using tubing ect. performance =fully enclosed noise open they both have there pros and cons but each to there own matey.
