Has anyone bought anything for their motor of here....Induction Kits,Manifolds,Back Boxes etc,Is it reliable? Or would you rather buy it for retail price from some store?

ebay is only as good as the seller!
picking up items can be a good way to save money (if you buy local!)
find out the value of an item (new or used) before biding

just have a look to see if they have any neg comments over the last 6 months or so before buying anything.
Never had a problem with ebay, but in saying that i have " not bided " on something because of neg comments on somebodys profile

I have bought loads of stuff the best item I have bought is a GT3 full strait cut exhaust system new, Fits perfect no triming ect. fills the bumper cut out perfect, came with all brackets & fitings Its mint, made my VTR loads faster, sounds brilliant too. Only £130 including postage!!!
But recently bought some so called dimond cut mesh, When it arived it was builders plaster's mesh, When the seller was Questiond he said he had sold loads of it with no problems! I told him I wasent happy and he gave me a full refund
In the past I have also been sent some pioneer 6x9's that were fake/seconds that fell to bits after about 2weeks, Also got a full refund.
Just be very careful, Look at feed back & try not to buy universal stuff. If its realy cheep its often to good to be trew

I think I will be geting a manifold at the end of the month Im not sure but I think the cat is in the manifold in later model vtr's. The original exauhst only has 1 box + back box, The box dident look like i cat, If this is trew make sure you keep the old manifold incase it dosent pas its next MOT
Now knowing this a manifold is probably a better buy than an exhaust at 1st.
O dont buy one of those 99p resistor/chips my mate put one in his and it fu*k his ecu & some how made his engine run realy hot.
