just wait a bit lonbefore putting it in reverse it actually says in the cars manual :y:

if its doing it a lot then could be the box at fault or just something as simple as the linkages

i think this happens with a lot of cars/people myself included.9 times out of 10 anytime you hear a "if you cant find it grind it sound" it was going into reverse !

my old vtr used 2 do this too sometimes

stick it into 1st then back down into reverse
or
put it in neutral lift the clutch then put clutch back down and reverse gear again it should be fine alot of cars do it, its the cogs not sequencing(sp) properly into sinc, there for it needs to kinda move a cog over to fit if you understand

hope this helps

think this is common in saxo's lol.. just dont rush to put it into reverse, neutral.. foot off clutch, then back on and into reverse.

I sometimes have to double clutch it into reverse - not bothered by it really....
