quick question about heat wrap for exhaust, the custom exhaust i want for my clio has a pipe that runs parrell to the bumper and i am worried that it could get hot and melt the bumper, would exhaust heat wrap protect the bumper from getting too hot.
cheers

it would reduce the head from the manifold and therfore should reduce the chances of melting.

hmmm it might work, i just wouldnt fit wrap to the whaust because of the way it absorbs water.
the tailpipes shoulnt melt the bumper really anyway

the exhaust system would be stainless steel so would it matter that it gets wet

clicky (http://www.zircotec.org/page/automotive/12) Have a look for ceramic coating sprays, you can buy it in a spray can. I did have a link in an old Performance Ford mag but I can't find it anywhere. It only cost around £13 iirc.
