unlocking my vts single plug ecu

going to be putting catcam 708's in my vts soon and a company told me you cant map the standard ecu, but someone else told me this wasnt true.

does it need to be unlocked so it can be re-mapped? where can i get this done? need somewhere close to the manchester area.

you dont need to unlock anything if its already running on the car. if you want to remap the std ecu you need to take it to chipwizards, dont think there a million miles from you.

try looking in the rcd performance section for other options.

cheers mate, all i need to know is that the standard ecu can be re-mapped because my final plans are just catcam 708's.

ive already got a raceland manifold, scorpion s/s de-cat and a scorpion s/s centre and rear and pipercross viper air filter. so got some good breathing mods. just the cams and a re-map now. hopefully get some good power gain.

YAN, ring chipwazards and get wayne to map it, costs a bomb tho but hes one of the best for it, think hes in rochdale somewhere, and ur ecu will be fine mate whoever told u it needs unlocking is a mong :P
