I know it might have been covered before but its midnight so cant be bothered searching around lol,
basically I have a straight through exhaust including manifold on my mk2 vtr and it was fitted by a pro but under the car near where the down pipe joins the system there is a metal bar going across with a bend in it which the exhaust passes through but it seems to be knocking on this bar alot when going round corners so what can I do to stop it.
all mounts are secure before anyone suggests that lol.
please help its so ennoying

I seen some racing exhaust mounts on ebay u think they mite be more stronger and hold the exhaust better to stop it moving so much or r they pretty much the same as standard

you could put a cable tie around the exhaust rubbers and pull it tight this would move it lower. donno if that helps

I found the problem it was the bolts at the bottom of the manifold as boarer 2004 said so cheers mate ill try giv u rep. after a hour messing around trying the figure it out I had to tighten the bolt on the right ( i was facing the front of the car) so it hardly had any play in the spring and loosen the 1 on the left a tiny bit and problem solved, bit of a weird fing to do but it worked.
just thought i would let u all know incase it helps any1 else out.
