Unless you have done a bit to your furio, you might be better off selling it & buying a Vts! Full Vts spec!

So if your worried about insurance on a Vts what makes you think it will be less on a converted furio?

I found my insurance to be about the same with a 1.4 converted to a vts, than on a standard vts.
Plus when you put mods on, it pretty much increases both quotes by the same amount.
If I was you though, I would definately declare it, no point risking it, as if anything was to happen you'd seriously regret not declaring it!! Plus, I declared it with DVLA and am still on my old tax price until I have to renew it next year, so have ended up paying tax for a 1.4 with a 1.6 16v engine !

ill do my best but im not really an expert . . .
you will need the ecu unlocked or you could try and get the keys and igntion barrel and lockset from the engine you source (should be easy if you go to a breakers)
you could update there rear beam with a vt* rear beam as they have disk brakes costing about 150 - 200 pounds i think, but it isnt essentual
if you havnt already you might also want to uprate the front suspension and brakes but not total nessasary i dont think, but probally a good idea.
quite a pricey job which of you declare will cost you just as much as buying a vts's insurance, and i would highly recommend declairing it tbh mate
hope this helps and good luck
probally missed some stuff but some more experianced people can probally have an input :y:

if you search there's loads of stuff on here about it.
You'll need simply:
vts engine
vts loom (ideally same year as yours)
vts ECU (as above) (unlocked)
vts top radiator hose
vts throttle cable (as i think the vtr one is too short)
vts driver drive shaft (make sure its either taper or not tapered, and the correct length hub spline)
you can obviously upgrade other things (give it a service, new cambelt etc.) but that should be enough to get you running.

my insurance on a coverted vtr was much less than for a vts with the same mods.
VTS= ins grp 14
my VTR 16v = ins grp 12

and top engine mount.
why do you want a pic of sngle plug and and 3 plug? have a look on yours and see what it is, you'll be best off getting same ecu and loom as to what is already in your car.
