Hi guyz. I own a 106 rallye and im planning to cam it soon. I've read numerous posts concerning the cams above and I would be grateful if anyone could help me choose between these cams. Help in advance!

Yeah its a Rallye S2 1.6 16v. I know most people go for the 708s and personally i think u can get more horsepower with em.
proven to give about 155bhp.
catcams are also cheaper irc.
id go for them if i was buying.

Yeah 150-155 is what im hoping for. I was thinking of buying a peugeot sport chip since i am told that its gonna suit fine. Has anyone tested one on a cammed car?
pugsport ecu?
not worth it imo, ive got cup cams, with cup ecu they produce about 145bhp irc..
the ecu isnt cheap and also from memory is a bastard on cold start etc..
id just get 708s and a nice remap.

No, i mean just the chip. Some people that it can even handle pt52's...:S
i dont like chips on engines as they are pre mapped and not to the exact specifics to your engine itself.

Yeah i know man, but since its gonna cost me sth like 80 euros it's a bargain! lol
unless the map is wrong and damages your engine due to fueling wrong :P

After a little search through some forums I came to the conclusion that pt 51's dont produce good power gains, at least not as one would expect. However, newman Ph3's seem to be a good choice for an everyday car, so I might give em a try If i find some used ones! U r thoughts on that plz!!!
