wondered firstly if it will fit and more importantly is it worth it? using my vtr for fast road and will be competing in hill climb and sprint and auto test as of next week and thoght it may be a good idea to do this. any help much appreciated thanks
id say just get a vts rad and use twin fans
would probably fit easier
lee_vtr1 has a vts rad and fan unit on his vtr
keeps it proper cool
hill climbs you wont be running long enough to overheat really.
changing the rad will mean the hoses etc... complete arse ache.

cheers guys will hunt for one now!
Hope i dont steal the thread but im interested in this VTS fan in a VTR, how easy is this to fit are there any other mods needed or is it a str8 swop? any info would be appreciated!
all you need is the rad and fan housing
i think thats all lees got
and i think there was some trimming of the bottom hose but im not 100% on that
I need a new rad like, mines is a bit paggerd at the bottom so its gettin changed this weekend, i think ill keep my eye out for a VTS while im in the scrappy! if not ill settle for a VTR once :)
If i see a vts i think ill just get both n give it a go!
yea its pretty simple tbh as the slam panels are all the same so it mounts in the same placs ect
Later R had a larger rad as stock!

whats the point behind fittin a vts radiator to a vtr ????
better cooling really. no point in fitting it if you have no mods to your saxo, but if you start modding the car extensivly (even after a manifold uprate id say) its time to start looking at the cooling side of your engine, because its starting to work harder!
true to an extent
but even with the mods ive done (see sig)
ive got standard rad set up and a single fan
im thinking of a getting second fan on tho tbh
