hi, i have an 03 vtr with the cat in the manifold and a full magnex stainless exhaust from the manifold back,
i am considering buying a supersprint manifold, but when it comes to the mot, can i replace the centre section of my magnex with a centre section from an earliar model saxo with the cat in the centre section?
Will it pass no problem? i know 1 of the lambada sensors screws into the manifold and the other just screws into a sleeve that you buy from gmc and is tied up out of the way (am i right here guys)? just hoping it will work, because i would rather swap the centre section than the manifold
Any help would be greatly appricated
Cheers Jas

Good plan actually, would be a lot easier swapping centre section around rather than the manifold tbh.

Don't see why it shouldn't pass, not to sure about the lambda sensors though.. :y:

Thats the same plan as mine i already fitted piper manifold and sensor sleeve to my 2002 vtr and my mot is in july so I was thinkin of getting a sports cat welded into the mid section for 150 quid. will a sports cat be ok for mot.

I think if you fit a exhaust from older model yours should be ok coz a standard cat has more cells in it or something like that lol thats why they are quite restrictive.

but would a sports cat be ok coz I want to leave mine on rather than keep changing for mot.
