hey there, i have just bought a turbo kit for my saxo, when i bought it off the kiddy, he said i would nees some hoses, any idea which 1's they would be? cheers

You've just opened a can of worms mate.

I would not have reccomended buying a turbo kit for your car unless you have good mechanical knowledge, deep pockets, and lots of patience.

well its off of a renault 5gt turbo, uts has been modified to bolt onto a saxo, i need to get a new oil as i hav a leak from it, i have everythig else all the manifold, intercooler etc, just need racing hoses

the shiny bits you see are the pipes you will need.

hard pipes are better as the wont bulge or close up when coming on and off boost.

just out of intrest what type of turbo and ic you using??

what boost you planning on running?

will the standard pistons and rods cope with the stress?

its a garrett turbo, i was plannin on running at 6-7psi, i have a friend who is a mechanic and he said that the pistons and that shuld be fine, but i was thing of up-rating the anyway

What type of saxo is the kit to be fitted to?

Post up a spec list of what you have and photos will help too. Also what model Saxo are you planning on fitting it to? But as soon as some one says R5 it brings up images of terribly poor botch ups and ebay con men. :n:
