Not very smooth acceleration.

My car is not accelerating smoothly, the throttle pedal has a incremental feel to it and isnt completely smooth, under acceleration it feels as though im put my foot on the gas a bit roughly.

I know its not the engine, im thinking perhaps a dodgy accelerator cable....

any thoughts?

i think ur havin the same problem as me, but im gettin the engine management light too. it feels jerky. like it wont pull properly, and struggles. ive noticed a power loss too...

This happened to me and a week later i had to replace my head gasket.
I would definately get it checked out incase something this serious can be prevented...

today mine started to do this. as if its running out of fuel very jerky n when you put your foot down on the throttle it takes a moment for the car to rev wierd
