Hi i've had my saxo now 4 year n had no major probs so far apart from a new back box. I know its needed a new clutch (well thrust bearing) for about a month jst never got round to it! anyway i got in it the other morn knowing it wuz low on petrol n it wouldnt start, so presumming it had run out of petrol i got some, filled it up but it still wunt start. My step dad an ex mechanic sed my battery wuz dead so need a new one. i went n got a new one n fitted it hopin this would solve it but it still wont start! can anybody help me, someone mentioned my fuel inlet or it could be electrical!! anybody any ideas????? could it be coz my clutch has totally gone now?? i dont know?? pls help!! x

it wont be the clutch i wouldnt have thought it sounds electrical try the red button near the brake resevoir that is the petrol cut off switch does the car turnover at all try all the connectors by taking them off and cleaning them off or drying them if necessary check the alterntor plug what car is it saxo what
