BP255 (Approx 255 ° duration) Very mild road cam where low end improvements are needed

BP270 (Approx 270 ° duration) Fast road cam for use in otherwise unmodified engines

BP285 (Approx 285 ° duration) Top fast road cam for use in hot hatch and modified road engines

BP300 (Approx 300 ° duration) First stage competition cam, ideal rally cars, short circuit where some mid range is required

BP320 Top race profiles


must atleast idel and run, because i am going to have to use it for 2 weeks after there fitted, befor remap. also wheres best place to order them from? piper seem to have decent prices but hard to understand as black top is over head cam roller type?

well, atm, ive got ashley comp exhaust, de-cat and janspeed 4-2-1 manifold and orderd a raceland with green. will do headgasket, belt ect when i do the cam. will i have to change all spigit rings and spings ect when i change the cams or will stndard ones handle it?

Edit, may order a super sprint silenced system while im fitting the cams.

Will 285* idel ok and run okey for around 2/3 weeks?

How many miles is the engine on?
As blacktops were only fitted to the early Vtr!

Mine be worth changing the valve stem seals while the head is off!
Also upgraded springs would be advised!

so if i got the whole cam kit inc, the vern pulley, engine only have around 80k on it. black top single plug ecu

also out off intrested what vts engine fits straight in with out re wiring?

How, much would it cost, if i suplied a vts engine and just wanted it swoped with my vtr engine?
