What would happen if you took the ECU from a VTR / VTS and put it in as a replacment of my 1.1 Forte ECU would this make the car quicker or just fuk it up

Firstly you'd need an unlocked VT* ecu

Secondly I doubt that it would work! Different maps & sets ups on the VT*s!

As long as its the same plug.. E.g 1 Plug or 3 Plug..

it should physically fit..

doubt it would work as said above

Doubt it would work at all, in fact 99.9999999% sure it wouldn't. Totally different engines bud.

TBH mate you ain't gonna make a 1.1 fast, definatly not for £100.

Save your money for something a bit quicker (VTR?) once you're insurance comes down a bit bud.

If you must spend money on it, make it handle/stop better so you can leave people on the twistys ;)

The only ECU that will run a 1.1 is a 1.1 ECU, all the pinouts are different.
