Hi all,

I've got a Pipercross open cone foam filter, I'm thinking of cleaning it so can anyone suggest whats the best/safest way of doing so without damaging the filter?

Thanks in advance.

Tub full of warm soapy water, submerge for a little while then dry on a radiator. Think thats the best way.
BUT
Dont just take htis advice, stav put his ones in the water and it totly disolved them, think that is because they were really old and manky though.
Rep please lol

I used to wash my motorcross ones in Petrol so I can't see soapy water doing them bad as long as it's totally dry before refitting...

It should probabaly be reoiled too using filter oil. I'm sure a company like K & N will supply this..
