Trying to work out if my 106 is cammed or not it runs very lumpy on idle and below 2500rpm its lumpy then pulls strong to redline!!
Im guessing it is but want to know for sure but dont know the best way to find out!!
Anyone?

rolling road 106 petes old car thatll give you an indication i wouldnt want to be ripping the head off thats for sure, one thing is for sure the Rat rocks!! is it coming to devon show??

no i wont be ripping head off, but if its only a fast road cam may not show up massively on a rolling road as the inaccuracy, engine ageing ie losing power etc.

doubt it, if it did the person selling it would have used it as a selling point lol
they run lumpy cos you don't have a lambda, give the CO potentiometer a tweek if you wanna get it running smoother.

xsi's have a slightly high liftin cam anyway. there rev machines!

but my point is mate symptoms are of cams not because of no lambda its clear after 2500rpm like a cam would and the idle sounds IDENTICAL to cams
raz and anthony both went in it i will wait to see what they think

my old XSi used to run lumpy, dont think it was cammed, but it did used to fly :y:

its not cammed! if it was then the bloke selling it would have mentioned it dont ya think???

What cams would you recommend for mk 2 vtr?? FOr like best permormance gains??
