hi. i recent bought a janspeed manifold for my 2002 vts. i went to put it on last nite an found that there is no hole for the pre cat lambda sensor. there is a hole wiv a female thread near the flange joint at the bottom but the lambda wire is on the top end of the manifold on the standard one. this is a problem coz the first lambda wire is only about 60mm long an is no where near long enough to reach the hole on janspeed manifold. is this a dodgy manifold or av i got mixed up or is there another way? help plz!

my piper 4-2-1 is exactly the same. but when i bought it the guy that works at piper said that you plug second lamba sensor in and blank the first off.

The first lambda should be plugged in, you may need to reroute the wire around the rear of the engine.
The second will require a lambda sleeve which you can get from GMC.
If one is removed (Not conected to loom) the ecu light will show.

I have a piper 1 - 4 manifold. The first lamba sensor is plugged and on the manifold the second is plugged in but just zip tied near the endge of my engine bad. Job done

it wud appear ive been abit daft! on closer inspection an wiv a hand from my mate who is an auto electrition ive dound that u can easily re route the lambda sensor wire round the back of the engine an it plugs in easy! be avin another go tomoz at fittin it. spent all tonite preping the manifold as it seems no one at janspeed knows how to weld!
