air filters?

after a new air filter but just the cone bit k&n was on the cards but i wont your opinions on what you think is best. let me know cos im lookin to get one this weekend:y:

GREEN cotton air filters are slightly cheaper than K&N but if u dont want a bright green air filter go wit K&N seem to be good i dont have that much experience happy hunting hope this helps a little :y:

Has anyone done a back to back RR test to find what/if any gains there are by changing to an aftermarket airfilter?

I know with a lot of Hondas you actualy lost power going aftermarket..

no but there are two brands that have been proven to gain, these to are bmc enclodes and raceland with green cotton enclosed. (gains are probably up to 3bhp)

the others could well be loosing bhp.. the most likely ones to loose bhp would be open... thus making more noisey then enclosed anyway.

Is that 3bhp extra at peak? What about across the rest of the range?
